By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.1. Definitions
  • "Customer" means an entity using the Services for business purposes.
  • "Data" means the name and phone number provided by the Customer for processing.
  • "Documentation" means the online user guides, manuals, and service descriptions provided by Knowl.
  • "Privacy Policy" means the privacy policy available at https://www.knowl.ai/privacy-policy, which governs personal data practices.
  • "Service(s)" means the AI automated calling services provided by Knowl.
2. Services2.1 Provision of ServicesKnowl will provide the Services in accordance with these Terms and applicable Documentation. The Services are intended for use by business Customers, especially in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.2.2 Customer ResponsibilitiesCustomers agree to:
  • Provide accurate customer data (name and phone number) lawfully obtained with consent where required.
  • Use the Services only for lawful and compliant purposes.
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, replicate, or misuse the Services.
2.3 Changes to the ServicesThe features and functionality of the Services may change from time to time. Knowl will endeavor to notify Customers of significant changes in advance where practicable.3. Customer Data3.1 Data OwnershipCustomers retain ownership of the data they provide. Knowl processes Data solely to deliver the Services.3.2 Data ProcessingKnowl processes only:
  • Name
  • Phone number
  • To perform AI automated calling functions. No human intervention is performed in processing unless required under exceptional or support scenarios.
3.3 Confidentiality and SecurityKnowl is ISO 27001 certified and implements appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Customer Data.3.4 PrivacyProcessing and handling of Data shall be governed by the Privacy Policy: https://www.knowl.ai/privacy-policy4.   • Each party represents that it has the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
  • KNOWL PROVIDES THE SERVICES "AS IS" AND MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, except as expressly stated in these Terms.
5. Prohibited UsesYou may not:
  • Use the Services to conduct unlawful communications.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the AI systems.
  • Circumvent security measures implemented by Knowl.
  • Use the Services in violation of regulatory requirements applicable to BFSI communications.
6. TerminationEither party may terminate these Terms upon written notice if:
  • The other party breaches material obligations and fails to cure within thirty (30) days.
  • The other party enters bankruptcy or ceases business operations.
  • Upon termination, Customer access to the Services shall cease.
7. General Terms7.1 Governing LawThese Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.7.2 NoticesNotices to Knowl must be sent to: support@knowl.io7.3 Entire AgreementThese Terms, together with any written agreements between the parties, constitute the entire agreement regarding the subject matter.7.4 No Third-Party BeneficiariesThese Terms do not confer any rights or remedies upon any person other than the parties themselves.8. Data Retention and DeletionData retention and deletion are governed by Knowl's Data Backup and Retention Policy.In the event of service termination:
  • Client data will be deleted from production systems within 30 calendar days from the effective date of termination or written deletion request.
  • Backup data will expire in accordance with backup retention schedules.
9. Governing LawThese Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.10. Changes to These TermsKnowl may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
